MG University Degree CAP Registration 2023 has been commenced on May 25th 2023. How to Apply for MG University Degree Courses ?
Candidates those who are planning to apply for MG University Degree courses can submit the application form at the official website - www.cap.mgu.ac.in. The registration facility will be made only through online mode. The applicants need submit only a single application form for applying online for admission to all the UG Degree Programmes in various affiliated colleges for considering them in the Open/Reservation Quota except International student’s quota/Transgender student’s quota/ Lakshadweep Quota and quota for Malayalee students from Andaman and Nicobar Islands.
If a candidate submits more than one application his/her/her candidature is liable to be cancelled. The candidates seeking admission through community merit/management quota/Lakshadweep quota/ Transgender student’s quota and quota for Malayalee students from Andaman and Nicobar Islands should also submit seperate applications directly to the institutions concerned. Candidates seeking admission to these quotas should apply through CAP and submit a print out of the online application form to the colleges in which they seek allotment. The above candidates Process can also apply under the Centralised Allotment Process, if they are to be considered for general allotment in which case selection will be based on merit/communal quota.
Candidates need to follow some simple steps mentioned below to apply for the MG University Degree admission. The Candidate will be only considered for the admission process once they have submitted the application form.
Step 1. Click on the "Account creation" link provided in the www.cap.mgu.ac.in web page
Step 2. Fill in the minimum personal details required with utmost care.
Step 3. Only one account can be created using a single mobile number and email id. All communications like application number and password shall be sent to the registered mobile number and hence candidates should take utmost care while giving mobile number.
Step 4. Create a 'Password'. (The password will be used for all future online operations). The password created by the candidate should not be disclosed to others who may misuse it. This may result in tampering with the options and the University will not be responsible for any such eventuality.
Step 5. After the successful creation of account, you will be provided a six digit application number starting with 2. The application number will have to be retained by the candidate for all future online and offline operations.
Step 6. Fill in the application form with personal details, academic eligibility and the options correctly. The applicant can give upto forty options.
Step 7. After satisfying him/her that the details entered are correct, the applicants shall remit the application fee online.
Step 8. Pay the application fee by clicking on the "PAY NOW" button which will redirect the applicant to the Online Payment Gateway. Applicant can use Debit Card/ Credit Card or Internet Banking facility for making online payment.
Step 9. After remitting the fee, the applicant will be redirected back to the application page.
Step 10. Upload the digital copies of the supporting documents.
Step 11. Take the print out of the confirmation page which will have to be retained by the candidate for future reference.
How to apply for Sports / Cultural Quota Seats ?
Step 1. After the final submission of application to merit quota seats, candidates who wish to apply for sports quota/cultural quota seats may choose the option corresponding to sports quota/cultural quota.
Step 2. In the case of sports quota/cultural quota, select the sports/cultural event applicable to the candidate and details corresponding to the category.

How to Apply for Community Merit Quota Seats ?
Step 1. After the final submission of application to Community Merit quota seats, candidates who wish to apply for Community Merit quota seats may choose the option corresponding to Community Merit quota.
Step 2. In the case of Community Merit quota, select the community applicable to the candidate. Please note that community merit seats are available in aided colleges alone.
